I am using a micromax which has a decent configuration, Its been 2 years since I bought this phone, But there have been no update since then not even to KitKat from ICS. What can I expect more from this company.. Not going to use it again.

This is great move by Micromax. Rooted phone and within warranty.. WOW... So guys either buy google phones or buy micromax to take the advantage of Brand new andriod for your phone. Cyanogen making ROM's for latest andriod even for older devices. Thanks micromax.... But please update your service centers, that is the only draw-back of micromax.

It's an ingenious move on their part and one i am surprised came from an Indian oem. They don't generally show this kind of foresight. They just have to stop adding their own apps though, absolutely horrible.

In Kerala Micromax Sold 30000 handsets and 12000 DOAs and another 19000 pending service I had seen customer waiting for more than 200 days to get a network issue of a handset fixed...Entire service centres in the state are in a chaos with anytime 50-100 people waiting for getting service registered, violent customers who had not received repaired handsets within 15days (not even one customer got their handsets serviced in a month’s time) one centre in Trivandrum claiming a backlog of 6000 handsets and operating with just 7 staffs.
Funniest of all is TALK (Association of Tele shops) Placed a notice stating they are not responsible for the service of Micromax on all mobile re-sellers in Kerala.

Guys that are saying this is good just remember how the partnership with CyanogenMod went with OnePlus, the One is a bugfest from signal dropping to random reboots.
