Anonymous, 21 Jul 2009So all you Nokia fans are still trying to emulate the funct... morei am a mac user and the answer to your question my friend is that updates are quite normal, even Apple provides occational updates for all their great products. All this iphone vs 5800 is insane, 5800 is marketed as a midrange phone. The 5800 is a great considering its price-spec ratio. So lets all try get along and stop wasting time just bragging who's better. I'm a mac computer user but i love my 5800 and I don't find anything wrong with using both brands.

For anyone asking about release date: It says shortly after 5530, this means in Q3 2009, this means it'll be here before the end of September and probably before.

This is one of the best phones from Nokia. But its very sad that Nokia is not focusing on it too much due to Nokia N97. If they fix the camera and the UI a little more, then I might buy it again as its the most balanced phone from Nokia.

ive been using this phone for almost two months now. so far, so good. been waiting for this update and thank goodness its coming realy soon. this will really improve the overall performance and looks by 50%. good job nokia:).

I'm so happy that they will put kinetic scrolling in and more stuff on the home screen to "touch"!! wooohooo!
About the guys who are saying we are copying iphone's features.... honestly. aren't we copying from each other all the time? You think Apple just made the Iphone from scratch? U think they didn't peak at the existing cell phones and see what they can copy or make better? so enough already with the copying or the ongoing iphone is the best crap. Iphone is good. but no matter how high tech that thing is... the battery has to last more than a day! PERIOD
