Nokia Xseries and Cseries coming up, geeks hold breath

20 July, 2009
It was all about four-digit model numbers with Nokia in the beginning. Then N-Gage stepped in, with the Nseries and the Eseries following shortly after. Now two more letters are joining the party...

binlas, 21 Jul 2009SE pah they are copying SE because they are using the alpha... moreSE copy Nokia just because they use the same OS ?? its like "SE buys Android but brands like Samsung or HTC still use that OS even its owned by SE but that doesnt mean that HTC and Samsung copy from SE. and we can see who copy from the others

I like the way Nokia is going with things. I've stuck by Nokia since 2002. Their first phone I bought was a 3310. I then moved on to a 3595, then a 6680, then a 6101, a 6133, and latest, a 5610. Believe me when I say this, i have NEVER used another phone personally like I did Nokia. I always thought they were pioneers at what they do. Their phones appeal, and they are pretty snazzy looking to boot. Nokia may have some snags, like little user-friendliness, and sub-par S40, but I believe they will succeed at the X and C, because they are definitely good at what they do: Make Phones.

And, to the ones who claim that Nokia "stole" the X and C from SE, that's like saying that Symbian took their S from Samsung......they're just letters, people.

I think the only way it will work is from a pricing point of view as it will no doubt be cheaper.

We have been told it will be identical to N97 but with a smaller internal memory and a smaller unit.

dani dani...even here in the nokia forum, i see you.

by the way the n95 paved the way for all multi media mobiles..from touchscreen to sliders to pda's to flip.

the iphone is still in its early stages. it may have a fast software but it still missing an all-around functionality.

the samsung omnia beats the iphone anytime. it already has a 600 mhz processor before apple decided to upgrade the iphone's processor to 600. even samsung beats SE on mobiles. nokia and samsung are on the top of the game just like kobe and lebron.

                          x and c series....go nokia!!!!

Yeah I dont quite know what the C stands for yet, but its just rumour mill that us guys in the field have heard.

My only thinking with your comments is that the E series has kinda taken from the communicator series with the not full QWERTY models and the Nseires also to some extent with the N97.

I think the safest bet is Classic tbh.
