There is the Walkman app and all the enhancements that usually come with it are also built-in the official ROM (such as xLoud for instance).
Most phones have Bravia Engine for the screen.
The official camera app is already Cybershot.

It's only the lower-end models that lack this features.
Most mid-range and all flagships have all those features built-in (they just aren't that advertised like in previous editions because now costumers wouldn't expect it to be any other way).

They had cybershot and walkman phones long long time ago. They should bring their technology back to their android devices.
What kind of problems prevent them to bring back their technology into android devices?

First time i bought note 8 2 years ago, i thought its pen would become very2 usefull. Then, until now i feel more comfortable to use "real pen" on a "real paper made notebook". Samsung pen is just a gimmick.

Sony, get a clue and get out. The World Market obviously doesn't need your unfinished and defect-prone products and your bad treatment of customers, otherwise you wouldn't be in constant decline for 5+ years now.

It's raw verifiable data, a fact, not a generalization. Maybe you are the one that needs a dictionary.

"My counterpart" is Sony, as that is the brand of most of my phones (plural). See the problem there?

What Sony needs is a better Marketing Division for their smartphone business entity. It is no surprise that people buy Sony smartphones because their specifications are top notch, but when it comes to after sales service, people get disappointed. Sony do have Sales Division but they forget to develop a good Marketing Division. They forget to maintain their products' buyer to their loyal customer. They still have the mentality of old electronic salesman: You buy it then thank you, we'll meet again when I have something else to sell.

Hi Sony, have had a few Xperia phones and will probably go for the Note 4 when I upgrade soon. I know you also have some big phones but they don't include a pen. A good pen really adds to a smartphones capability as have recently found out while playing with a note 4 at the phone store.

My own experience equates to ONE person. The experience of my friends equates do a handful of people. I just gave you what is the experience of THOUSANDS of users -- yet now you complain that's too much... now I'm "generalizing".

Some people just can't handle facts, plain verifiable facts known to anyone in that business.

As a longtime Sony phone user I just can't understand your last phrase. Sony can't be both quality and crap flooding the market at the same time dude, make up your mind!

Man, what they need is a no-compromise Cybershot phone. They already have the sensor, they just need to get the actual imaging department guys to do the image processing software. That, and really push the Playstation integration.

                        "We have the technology."

Yes have less phones but tailor them to the consumer.

Some don't care about camera, but do care about audio quality. So give them better audio quality.

Some aren't fussed about audio too much but want a nice snapper. Give them an 10mp camera and good enough sound.

Some are business users, so license Blackberry OS and serve that.

Look at Xiaomi. 1 advanced flagship, 1 proper-sized good enough cheap mid range and 1 shovel cheap mid range. They also plans for cheaper flagship, like MX4/MX4 Pro. And now they sell more than Sony.

                              Z (5,0-5,2'', $600 max incl VAT), Z compact (4,5-4,7'', $400, ), M shovel (5,0-5,2'', $300) and M compact (that is current M2 aqua 4,5-4,7'', $250). That's enough.

Sony should launch 9 phone in a year. Or 6, if they ignore the entry levele.

3-3 phones both in the flagship category and a midrange (A phablet between 5,5-6 inch, a "normal sized" version with 5 inch display, and a compact in 4 inch).

This is simple, and clean. Everyone can find a phone themself.

Now, I want a small, midrange Sony, but there is no such a model like this. M2 or stronger phones are too big, smaller versions are too weak. Z1 Compact too big too, and too pricey as well.

Sony are going to be concentrating on high end devices which is good news, hopefully that will start with the Z4 family next year, that's the Z4 compact, Z4, Z4 Ultra and Z4 Tablet. No point in making mid to low end devices not much money in that area.
