I still have my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc it is a very good phone and no reason to upgrade.

Sony should stop releasing half-assed updates instead. I'm tired of updating to a newer android version only to see the device getting crippled by it because some retard got the settings wrong.
Like the botched mic volume on JB->KK update, or the BT module suddenly being unable to stream audio without stuttering every few minutes on KK stock rom - while it's perfectly fine on a custom KK one or the older JB stock rom.

....And presumably to stop pssing customers off. Seriously, 6 month cycles, I'd hate to have bought a Z3 and then realise it's getting superceded in less than 6 months.

In most markets the most important factor is the price tag.. they produced really good smartphones, especially in 2014, it's all about the price and distribution.

Here's hoping Sony doesn't stop making high-end HDTVs. their color reproduction and build quality is second to none.
Here's hoping they can somehow rise from the dead (compared to yesteryear that is). Really don't wanna see a day where they're sold to some unknown schmuck of a company. They really need to live on.

Just keep making camera parts for Apple. That is most profitable.
And do not use Android, because its slow and laggy. Try some WP8.

agree with sony... think carefully n make a good concept n design
remember my Xperia RAY...SONY said it took 1,5 years from concept until it was sold in the market.

It will be good when sony releases Smarphone around Indian Rs. 7k to 10k margin Mobiles with good configuration. Because i Have been using Sony Xperia Tipo Dual from 2012. Till now i Haven't faced any problem. So i am eagerly waiting for Sony SmartPhones for a Mid Range.
