Microsoft to detail Windows 10 for phones, tablets in January

Mick, 27 Nov 2014AgreeLol who cares about windows phone it has potential but at the moment its woeful im using it at the moment due to a stolen Android phone. I was given a lumia and the os is disgusting i'd rather us ios and thats saying something.

    Looks like from OS point of view, Microsoft is doing it right. I believe this is what Google is trying to do with Chrome project (which might be deviated to Android).

        Don't care about phones or tablets but Windows should really take it seriously to optimize its resolution problem with higher resolution screens especially laptops. I have been waiting for that for the last couple of years but windows still not done much about it. High-end laptops with beautiful screens are useless because of Widows's poor resolution scaling problem

          Windows 10 designed to run accross all platform.

          that means if i dont add any uneccesary thing in my PC windows 10.

          IT would be superb Lightning Speed.

                        Windows 10 will be salutes by other OS soon. I love the MS windows and I can't wait to have it on my Nokia Lumia 1520 that beat iPhone 6 plus. I can't wait to have windows 10 please. Rest of OS respect MS windows 8.1 before 10 comes.

                              Does that mean we can run .exe in windows phone 10??

                                There's still a few Windows 8.1 updates in the pipeline. Surely there 'Nokia' Lumia phones have so much hardware specs to catch up on before they could cope with a 'full' Windows 10 version. Most are of low quad core calibre & only the L930 has 2 gb ram... Lots of work for Microsoft & I will keep my Lumia 820 on a sim only contract for a couple of years yet...
