Moto G first generation getting Lollipop update soon

I updated my Moto G (1st gen) with lolypop android.
But I lost all the contacts. It's becoming very hard to call my friends, business clients & colleagues.
Please let me know, how I can get all contacts back?

My moto g 1st generation is still stuck on 4.4.2 update. I can't even get past that update. Help??? I want to update to lollipop. Thank you in advance.

Yesterday I got 5.1 for moto g1 in India.its fast but .5.1 is consuming more ram.:(

It is very easy to get lollipop on moto g first generation
First you have to install Motorola service update from Google store
And then go to the setting of system update;)

Toooooooo bad worst android version is lollypop my mobile working 10 times slower from this lollypop version.... i hate lollypop android

Its been more then 4 months since release of Android lollipop. Moto G 1st gen is yet to receive an update. As it was promised by Motorola I expected that to happen at least within 3 months. and not its more than 4 moths. This is very bad. Where is my lollipop? :)

Hi,
I updated my Moto G Ist Generation to Lollipop on 6th Feb'15
Overall my experience is that there are few drawbacks.
I'm talking about the comparison between kitkat and lollipop.
1. Dialing a Number process has become slow (I guess this is the main functionality but) it has become slower by few split seconds.. you know how it irritates..
2. Calender (again basic funct.) is complicated. I dont understand why dont they keep calender simple.. I use it often so I wd hv liked it in simple way..
3. Messaging window is faint -- you cant make it easily which is unread message..

Backgorund screen is still black unlike Moto G2 which has white.
I did not wanted to upgrade but I was getting notifictn repeatedly .
