The ui here is effectively a search menu that brings up the most recently used apps. Watch video of this UI in action and you'll get it. It is very well suited to how I use my phone. i think once people get a chance to use it they will understand.

Then again, I find the iOS interface difficult and arcane.

honestly, it looks very cheap and old fashioned. the design is incomparable to android and ios.

i really really really want utouch to succeed, but looking at the phone above, with a nice modern large screen and only 3 icons across the top? what the F*CK?

that is SUPER SILLY! what kind of designer thought that was a good idea?? will it be one or 2 icons across in the future?

I run a photo business from my phone so in that regard I have to be connected 24/7 to be able to recieve orders, emails from customers, and etc....

What a shame, an OS for power users wasted on a fashionphone with no sd and no removable battery

I may be interested in this one as Meizu MX4 has the long lasting battery life of all phablet to date (14:06 web browsing time according to gsmarena battery test.

Let's hope Meizu MX4 keeps this amazing stamina with Ubuntu Touch. That would be a true remedy to my disappointment with the failed Ubuntu Edge campaign (luckily I got my money back).

Looking forward to see how it performs and gets things down. By the way, the menu looks very simple and instead of a wallpaper, the menu has a white background which doesn't look all that attractive.

                                  Important question is:
-Will the old users of MX4 will be able to get UBUNTU or not?
It mentions special edition etc. but...
This is very important to pick a holiday sales portion from now on (or not). I hope MEIZU sales people are not sleeping. Ha ha!
Because if old MX4's will be able to install new UBUNTU when available, I will pick one.
This has to be officially announced (again if they are not sleeping). :)))

People use those mobile phones rather for non-efficient tasks then efficient ones. Buying these types of phones usually does not bring any happines, only infiltration into virtual world which is so unreliable and created from numbers.
Use your phones just for obligatory tasks, it's quite sad that we rely on a piece of plastic/metal/glass rather than discover why we are amused with these equipments.

I don't know about you all, but I am eagerly looking forward to see how it will perform against Android, BBOS10, Firefox OS, IOS, Sailfish OS and Windows 10 smartphones, and at which rates it will be priced. Good to see new challengers coming to the ring.
