despite all your bad and negative comment out there, at least something very unusual and out of the box is always interesting to see.

and bout people who raging bout the comfort of the aspect ratio, please, it's add screen size to the side for buttons and menu, but the screen itself still as big (or bigger) as other touchscreen phone right?

    * soft: this is not a smartphone, this is without open-usage opsystem foolphone, 100% dependence of lg ideas what their users "must need", sure not for appfreaks, unless some ultra-hyper-myriade app created

    * screen: 21:9 is terrible, _narrow_ (not wide) like 3" screen, lg must work hard explaining to users what to do with the "extra space"; even half "extra" enough for onscreen menus

only hope is improved s-interface and better processor for running it

anyway wishing to lg and bl40 success, to keep other fancy stuff price lower

I work in the industry and I have gotten my hands on the test sample of this baby. It is nothing like anything out in the market. We are all very excited about this phone and before saying anything, you must hold it in your hands.. It is awesome to say the least..

LG's main campaign at the moment is the S class user interface. theyre trying to get as much people to recognise their interface as their selling point

What the fusck? Long and fragile (seeing how the build quality on the KS360 is), put that into your pocket and sit down and that's £(insert price here) down the drain, then you'll end up spending as much for the phone for a screen.

This is as bad as the Toshiba "phone", gimme a phone that has keys and tactile response dammit. Touch screen fails

bluechip, 31 Jul 2009I don't get it... why 21:9? 4" screen is great, but when it... moreactually it's 4:3 and 16:9 for widescreen and not 11:9. I think they made it 21:9 so extra space beside might be for touch screen control buttons. Just a guess.

bluechip, 31 Jul 2009I don't get it... why 21:9? 4" screen is great, but when it... moreTheatre/cinema aspect ratio is at 21:9

But its weird, cause most video comes with blackbars with the video... so you would be very limited on where you source your videos from.

I don't get it... why 21:9? 4" screen is great, but when its so long, a movie/video (which is typically 4:3 or 11:9) will only populate half the screen, making the video very small, like watching it on a 2.2" screen.

Same thing for surfing the web... hold it vertically, its too narrow and you have to keep scrolling left and right. Hold it horizontally, it will be too short and still not easy to navigate, compare to a regular 4:3 screen.

                          it sure looks sexy though.

Very nice in styling. 21:9 is the next aspect ratio beside 16:9, LG know what consumer wanted. All I hope for is LG will set a fair price so I could own one :)

actractive phone, i love the long simple lines on this....

But knowing LG = No firmware updates, terrible user experience, + all gimmicks

They will release a new phone a month later, and not bother to update their already sold products =/ which sucks for the Users.
