Samsung is making Apple A9 chipsets on 14nm process

Korean media says the manufacturing has already started at Samsung's plant in Austin, Texas.

        Samsung chooses to use the arm cortex cores as is in their exynos chips..

          It's a good move for Samsung. This is a mutual relationship. Even if Samsung refused to manufacture these chipsets, Apple will find somebody else for the job. Accepting the contract is the smartest move. Accepting or refusing, either way will let Apple produce their iPhone7, so why not just take the contract (money), right?

Samsung has the right tools, machines, factory, man power and engineering experience.

                i wanna know why samsung do not use these chipsets for them self?? its like they are making the best components for other manufacturers and using the weaker ones....i dont get it...

                  They can't live with nor without each other. Hope Samsung does a good job though.
