Sales of S5 must be really disappointing for Samsung to launch the S6 so early...There are tons of S5 in every phone shops but don't know a single person who bought one. From the first day i saw the S5 i knew they should scrap it and launch the S6 as soon as possible...
But 5.5" is really too much, 5" should be the maximum.

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2014Sammy stopped innovating and its market collapsed. There we... moreWouldn't it be awkward to hold your phone to your eye everytime you want to make a payement. The fingerprint scanner implementation is bad enough as it is..

Sammy stopped innovating and its market collapsed. There were rumours of an iris scanner a year ago, but it never happened. An iris scanner would be awesome for unlocking phone and making purchases. Galaxy S6 needs an iris scanner and 4GB RAM to stay in the game.

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2014It's actually nearly 1 year. The S5 came out in February 2014.The S5 was unveiled in Feb at MWC, but it was released in April for purchase.

I can believe the spec rumours and the curved screen stuff, but I highly doubt Samsung would choose CES to unveil what is essentially its latest flagship.

I think with a 5"5 inch screen it would cannibalize sales of the Note 4. I think a 5"2 or even a 5" display is better and makes the device easier to operate with one hand.

I don't believe samsung would lift the current on the s6 so soon, from what I've seen I don't see the 6 month strategy working for Sony so I don't think they want to go down that road.
