Nokia Lumia 635 headed to Sprint, Boost, and Virgin Mobile

when they announce this phone in feb this year, it says it will have 8mp with LED flash and secondary camera of 1.3mp. now when its finally announce or re-announced its only 5mp with no flash at all. i was looking forward to buy this phone because of its size small and easy and also replace my 620 but with no flash or secondary camera its a big NO.....sorry nokia this sucks, disappointed.

Freezing on WP ... moresorry pal, i ain´t one to hate on lumia phones. i preffer them to android and my main phone is a lumia 1020. i bought two lumia 635 brand new and both of them are just like i described. and i´m not the only one that found that to be the case. in fact the second hand web pages around here are full of them and you can buy one for less than 60€ with not even a couple of weeks in use. perhaps the spannish version is at fault or it may verry well be a software issue. but i stand for what i said, the camera collors are to faded and the glare in the display is awfull.operators like orange or jazztel offer them at 0€ movistar even offer them at 0€ with the lowest contract at 10€ per month and you won´t pay a penny for it. it´s to bad, i actually loved the 620,my brother has it now and he´s inlove with it.

Microsoft\Nokia makes excellent phones but the quality control is quite bad. This phone is sturdy and beautiful. Screen is pretty good with clearblack technology.

this phone is awfull in so many ways i can´t even start to describe. i own two of them and now ar forgotten somewhere in a box allongside old phones. cheap plastic case that slides and crickets, lousy camera, the s.o. freezes up to the point where i had to pull the battery out to reset the device, and the display...awfull. they say it´s better than the lumia 520 that it has 4g and whatever. i´m sorry really. i own 5 lumias and none of them even come close to the bad quallity of this one. i don´t recomend it unless you have no other phone choice. to bad, on paper it´s pretty decent for it´s price tag (149€ in spain).

I can understand Boost and Virgin, but I disagree on Sprint's decision to carry this phone. For the stats, you could easily get an HTC Windows phone for a similar price with better specs than this. I mean, 512mb of RAM is the amount found in a smartwatch! No front cam?! The only thing this smartphone will be able to do well is send/receive calls and text! Anything app related is going to suffer severe performance issues. I think Microsoft could have done better bringing in another model Windows phone, something at least mid-tier in terms of performance. As it is, the 635 isn't even the poor man's Windows phone, it's the beggar's choice.
