In my opinion until they start making them more attractive and basing their looks and design on smartphones/phablets, and giving mid to high end specs, most people won't use one as a viable option for phoning/messaging. Manufacturers need to wake up.

mas39, 18 Dec 2014Not crazy, just sensible, they make XL phones for people li... moreA 7" tablet with phone functionality was there ever since the first 7" tablet arrived in the form of the original Galaxy tab, but it's never gonna be (sanely) introduced as a 7" phone, although it practically is. Even though they made the bezels that slim, it's not (ever) gonna (comfortably) fit in your front pants pocket, hence it's really not practical enough to be called a mobile phone. This company is just trying to create hype as if it's something new and incredible when in fact it's not. It's a lame effort.

Does it make an 27" iMac also a big phone?
It can make calls via Skype and Facetime.

Overpriced for the specs. I bet they also chose great production tolerance like oneplus or lg for nexus devices so a lot of screens will be shit and people will have really bad RAM resulting in freezing and crashing of the phone

You must be hol... moreSimple, fits in my poscket, people think any size above 62 won't fit into your pockets but they will. Maybe an 8" will be a little more difficult but certainly me 6.4" Sony easily fits into my shirt and trouser pockets, until people try they will keep on making the same statement again and again.
