What the hell wh... moreI am now shifting to Asus Zenfone, since I am no more interested in the Lollipop update. It has taken too long for the moto g2. I now feel that we were wrongly done a mis-selling by Motorola by promising a quick update.

Its der u guys, I hv a moto x g2 n I got an update on 18 Dec 2014. Its the batchwise system dat gives u the update so be patient n wait...

I will never buy moto again after somany months also no updates for moto g 2nd gen... Moto cheated us we can't wait a whole year for updates y guys r so slow... Moto ur losing ur Indian market

Why are all of you cribbing like 6 year olds!!! Don't you know what the lollipop update did to the moto g global version??? If you don't know, then go give the news a read. Motorola had released the update way before anybody else but with the discovery of plethora of bugs, it decided to withhold updates till the bugs are fixed. These bugs were potential disaster for your phone as it not only harms your software but damages the hardware too( ask any nexus 5 user). So guys, stop cursing Motorola and lenovo( for no reason) as they indeed were the first OEM to bring out the lollipop update but google fucked up. I'm glad that at least I have a functional phone with KitKat rather than have a dysfunctional phone with lollipop. Lollipop will coke to your device but not until Google fixes all the hazardous bugs and this is going to take time. So be patient and let Motorola and google do their job.
FYI if you're dying to get lollipop on your device then just flash cm12 or titan ROM (find them on XDA site).

Contacted Motorola Support, they were not even aware of such page on their own website!

Motorola/lenovo please respond to the sentiments of Indian users of moto g(1&2) and release android l immediately otherwise the day is not far off when Indians will not go for motorola/lenovo phones any more.
