Android 5.0.1 rolling out to Moto G first and second gen

I have a moto g 1st generation. Last week i got lollipop update and i updated it but since then whenever i make a call to a number which is not in my contact list will show as private number in my call history without the number. Also i lost ringtone sound. All other audio effects such as media and alarm volume are working. Ringtone is not working. Please somebody help to get out of this situation.

guyz ... who all are unable to change brightness on lollipop can use app called brightness level ...that might help u in changing the brightness .... very easy to use App !!!

I cannot able to call :(im able to make a call after update to 5.0.2 ... can you try removing ur primary sim and the placing a call from secondary sim or using the priary sim as secondary sim (if u r suing 1 sim only) ... that setting sort of worked for me else raise a query with motorola ...they might have a solution

i just updated .... BUT i'm able to make a call from my phone.
It could be that my primary sim slot is empty and have an Airtel Sim on Secondary slot.
Update 1 after Update:
Anyone who is fond of colors .... DON'T update to Lollipop !!
Notification bar and evryhting else has become White !!
Will add more review/my user review of lollipop on Moto G 1gen after updating from 4.4.4

I m having moto g 1st generation and i m not hgetting update. I had gone for settings->about phone->system updates. But its showing system is up to date. My mobile is kitkat 4.4.4. Please suggest how to get lollipop update for my mobile

And for auto brightness there is option called adoptive brightness in settings>display it's also same as auto brightness functionality.

I seen my Motog 2nd Gen updtaes Version Alert on systems 5.4.4 Lolipop. before up gradation of cell the all apps will be romove or not?? I ask about version updates do or not...

I too had the problem of being unable to change the ringtone. I don know why this happnes.
The simple fix is to save the desired ringtone in the ringtone folder of the internal storage.
(I Used ES file explorer)

Guyz,
Requesting all the Moto G 1gen users, who have updated to lollipop kindly reply ...if they are facing any issue. Anything which is a major / blocker issue (like unable to make outgoing call) or secondary (like unable to change ringtone) etc etc

I had my 1st gen motif upgraded to android5. But I am not able to change my ringtone even if I changed in the ringtone optio. Pls help me solve this problem. Another problem is brightness of the phone.if by chance you reduce the brightness to zero and you remove your hand from the screen then God has to help you to bring the brightness. I don't know how they could desine such a thing without giving second option to brighten the screen.

I bought a moto g2 preloaded with android 4.4.4 . it is constantly loosing the signal where as the network reception is absolutely normal in my other phone for the same sim and both d slots stop working or recognizing the sims ! Is this problem solved with the lollipop upgrade ?

can not set the customize ring tone on moto g2 after upgrade of lollipop i tried doing so but it just give a default beeep sound or only the pre default ring tones

after upgrading to 5.0.2, not able to make outgoing call & receive incoming calls while mobile data is switch off. it starts once mobile data is switched on....pls help..
