Apple spends resources on retail stores but gives you a mediocre designed for obsolescence products with with low memory crashes, Safari browser reload issues, premature background app closures, etc.
Samsung is closing stores as a cost saving to focus on building industry leading products with precision pen, 3GB DRAM (instead of Apple's measly 1GB), split screen multitasking, etc.
Considering I usually order online anyway so I'll take the superior Samsung products. Even 2012 Samsung products are better than Apple's 2014 products.

samsung is better than any other brand i m owner of samsung smartphone from 3 yrs and till know never got problem...samsung has best quality best CPU qualcomm snapdragon and smooth interference..only samsung doesnt give updates in midrange doesnt means its bad...company like mmx karbonn lava spice also doesnt give updates even sony gives updates but it has worst camera and quality than samsung..one day samsung will be back...

in my country lacking of the built in fm radio in the new samsung phones gave sony and htc more advantages than samsung......

Samsung are still best phones around, and many can mock them over the "gimmicky" features which they simply don't know hot to use. The truth is that Samsung has the latest technologies and the best features under the hood, even if not all of them are necessary for each and only user. They are at least 2 year ahead of main rival Apple, better quality than LG, having better overall deal than Sony, and HTC. The design is improving and will likely to be the best once again next year. "Falling sales" is something we need to put in context. Yes they sold less SGS5 than SGS4, but they sold more than Sony, HTC, LG, Motorola/Google and Huawei put together and comes second only to iPhone, but only is we considering only one of many devices they have on offer.. If we look at sales overall, Samsung alone makes 48% of the market, and over 70% of android phones. Just start being realistic.

How surprising, I just bought Galaxy Alpha there 2 days ago and got free Tab 4. It is sad to see the shop being closed. The problem is that Samsung Experience stores are nothing alike Apple and doesn't have major impact on sales. I believe Samsung should focus more on attracting customers to its own stores, because currently there are no clear reason why would you buy Samsung product from their own store instead of any other high street location.
