Dude there is something wrong in your phone. Just get it repaired or reset it to factory default. My 925 works great I haven't received the denim update yet so can't say anything about it.

Was trusted & being using Lumia 925 for a year but unfortunately after updated the Lumia Cyan + Window 8.1, my phone keeps on freezing at least once a day & sometimes can goes up to 4 times a day yet couldn't downgrade as adviced by the Microsoft Window Lumia customer services. They said have to wait for the next software update as current software will not fix any changes or improving correction. Lame excuse & damn unstable software from Microsoft. I have a second iPhone 4s only yet never face any problem of freezing after updated new software.
Im not sure how many Lumia customers are facing this issues but next year I'll stick to iPhone ONLY. My Lumia 925 will goes to dumping site area.

Microsoft service center perhaps, but Nokia is already dead as far as Windows Phone is concerned. Soon, Nokia service center will be for Android products only.

Nokia center may be shut because they will utilise Microsoft assets resulting in cost savings.

The problem with Android is not mainly the OS or OEMs' UIs'. The main problem is "app" in general.
The OS since Gingerbread as I worked with all of them and including Honey Comb in tablets, Grows faster and faster with less bug and lag than my expectations.
An everyday consumer work with unknown OEM handset to Samsung flagships in their home with no issue in operations, but when alternative stores for their local currency installs in their phone, problems starts. I played one Version of Temple Run 2 from its APK stored in my PC in every phone I tested from LG GT540 to recently Nexus 5, all of them has same problem, when you play, Graphic won't load or malfunctions, So I need to restart all of them Except, I9300 GSIII which resets my obtained Gold from 1000 to Zero.
The main problem was and still is Apps in Android's home "Google Play Store". As supervision is weaker than normal criteria in any app stores, Low quality Bug filled apps will kill fluent experience with android.
As WP8.0 arrived and caught market, except Huawei which was under curtain to advertise its handsets even in Android ecosystem was unfortunate with Microsoft's platform.
The main purpose of Smartphones are Three, Web Browsing, Video Playback, and Telephony. When radio inside your handset becomes fully recognized by your OS, you will see the least malfunctioning in handsets and restart will disappear.
When SoC cooperate fluently in between CPU and GPU, third party apps will use codec resources with least power consumption and if telephony functions properly specially in 3rd gen to above (Now 3G to LTE), tethering won't be a mess.
iOS is a Single Handset, Single OS with fixed standards and limited resources, so user experience is much more power and energy efficient than Android, But remember with what even iOS is unable to do, a Windows Phone with now outdated SoC Snapdragon S4 with Adreno 225, do it fluently and As an early adopter to WP8.0 and OS developer since then, That Lumia 820 except for updates and sim or µSD insertion, never slept.
The max awaken time was 6 months, 2 days, 10 hours and after that win 8.1 Lumia Cyan was installed, now is awake until now.
With Same SoC,
BB Z10 stay for 4 months, 3 days, 1 minute, then auto restart.
HTX One XL 2 months, 5 days, 23 hours
Samsung Ativ S 3 month, 8 hours
HTX WP 8X 21 days, 14 minutes
Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX 4 month, 3days, 55 minutes
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700 (3G) 1 month, 12 days, 7hours.
So, When the OEM adjust the handset carefully, you will see the more careful optimization, the better final product power and energy administration.

Can't wait for the firmware. Without it and the latest build, there is a bug that slows you phone down to a crawl for a bit, since the phone thinks you have opened twice the apps that you have.
WP multitasking menu can only hold 7 different apps, however with this bug for the phone it appears there are up to 14 opened apps. Closing them all restores fluidity, but still.

updated my lumia 620 yesterday.it slowed my actions in changing to other menu screens but improved my overall performance and l2tp vpn is a super welcome option in the absence of proper proxy soft-wares

Better to go for android because windows has no future. Windows is dead! After android 5.0 coming hanging issue and charging draining issue and other small and big issues are gone. And now android is better than windows in every part only not in security! But you know that Google is closing their open ID service after 31/12/2014 means they are improving security too.. So please don't buy windows. Windows is dead. And Google has started making android PC.. Really windows is finishing it self by making wrong decisions! Bye windows phones.. (bye fully windows in the future) fck windows

Do not install Lumia Denim update. Internet Explorer keeps on crashing to the home screen, also some minor issues with touch. Web browsing is not at all smooth. I have to revert back to Lumia Cyan for my Lumia 520
