Makin... moreYou missed the point of him wanting to do more with his phone and not be limited to the apps that are prescribed by a platform for that particular phone. There are certain apps that I cannot run smoothly on Lumia 520 that run with no glitches on my S4, thus the need for a more powerful hardware on the Lumia side.

Please, enough with the fully plastic covers. One reason I didn't buy the 535 is because of its design. In my opinion, they should use the aluminum side chassis in most of their products, like in the 930 and 830.

I own an HTC One X which has 1 GB of RAM (and of course the notorious Tegra 3 chipset) and I barely have experienced lags even with its stock firmware. If the software is well optimized, they don't usually use high resources. No need of having that huge amount of RAM's on phones. No 8-core CPUs. No QHD displays. Then people come here whinning about their low battery life. And you want more every year, changing the phone even though you don't need a new one, deceiving yourself that you'll use that much resource. Shame. It's just a waste of money every year people do. Capitalism at its best. You don't need it but you still feel like buying it. Of course your money is none of my business but think a bit at least.

Iphone with 1Gb ram is priced @ up to USD 849.
This Lumia if priced at a fraction say USD 300 is still a Crazy Buy.
Given the Smoothness and Effective Programming of Lumia...1Gb ram is more than enough to play all High Graphic Game from XBOX, with some other multitasking running in the background.
