You could already sync them before with itunes using blackberry media sync for PC, and this was a downloadable application from the BB website. they then released a Beta for MAC, but what they mean is this software is not beta anymore and included in the box.

Blackberry devices can currently connect to a Mac through third party software such as PocketMac or Missing Sync, however the official blackberry desktop manager will allow the user to udate to the latest software, install new apps and back the information up!

Good enough handset but such a cut-price spec should have resulted in a cheaper handset price

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2009Are you using third party programs or hacks to do so?The software is available from the Blackberry website (UK site anyway, not sure about other countries)

The software is called Blackberry Media Sync, and allows you to sync your Blackberry (running os 4.5 and later) to either itunes or windows media player

A nice phone aimed towards the average consumer market looking to move from their standard phone experience to a "smartphone" experience such as a Blackberry. Tt may have a simple camera but it still provides a usable experience and with the dedicated music keys and itunes synch. it really isn't that bad. It might not have 3G but the network's GPRS is pretty fast, you can always download Bolt or Opera Mini which will provide a faster browsing experience than the default built in browser. This phone is also one of the phones eligible for the new 5.0 OS soon to be released which includes a bunch of new useful features and improvements.

I'm mixed, no, I don't think this would be for me, even if I was to use a Blackberry (which no disrespect I happen to like them) I would like something with 3g, better screen. BUT, there are those who need blackberry service, and want an entry level device, in this aspect, its just whats needed.
