I bought this a week ago. After 1 week of usage I can come to the conclusion that the phone is great. I had installed asphalt 8, dead trigger 2, iron man 3, brothers in arms 3 and shadow fight 2 and still the phone runs smooth but just heats a bit upto 47 degrdegree celius and then it cools down
It has 16 gb of internal memory but around 10 gb of memory is covered by phone's ui and inbuilt apps so u have to buy a memory card of 16 gb or more. Coming to camera, to be honest when I purchased this phone camera was average. After 2-3 hours the camera app updated and then then the clarity of both the cameras was great, on coming to sound, it supports HTC boomtown and dolby speakers, the sound quality is great but depending on the quality of your downloaded song.

So I suggest that if you want a mid-ranger phone with a show off because it is of HTC then go for it

5.5 inch display with full HD, that's it! I would grab one as soon as it hits the market.

smit, 07 Jan 2015no speakers???As with the Desire Eye, I'm guessing the speakers will be "hidden" between the black bezel and the screen.

Not bad HTC but the battery could have been of 3000 mAh capacity given the screen is 5.5 inches and the resolution full HD.

I'm normally not a fan of mid-range phones, but even I'm pretty impressed with the specs of this device. 64x processor, 2gb of RAM, expandable memory, acceptable camera, it's a very efficient device. Especially if sold at a mid-range price. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

This is how it should have been at the beginning and HTC finally got it right. The UltraPixel camera makes perfect sense as a front facing camera. People take selfies in dark environments (clubs, etc) and they don't need to be high resolution. The rear camera should be high resolution.
