Good design but if the top and bottom bezels were also reduced then it would look nice, overall. At last, there's a entire series of phones for noobs.

Sensible design. Too narrow a bottom would make pressing buttons very difficult.

Those top and bottom bezels look huge though... those are the ones that should be slimed not the sides, we need something to hold on to.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2015You want to move the earpiece on the back ??The earpiece is like 2mm tall... and the microphone hole is typically on the bottom of the device. It almost looks as though they are making large bezels on this phone just for fun. (Or to make it look like the side bezels are even thinner.)

This will be sticking out of everyone's pocket, and ultimately be difficult to have as a primary device. There's no need for these monster bezels.
To make matters worse, large top and bottom bezels are extremely ugly.

Slim bezels are no good. In fact, they are counter productive as you are FORCED to use two hands to operate the phone. If you try to operate phone using one hand, the palm will touch the screen (especially with thin bezel) and then result in erratic touch responses. There should be a stop to such meaningless madness in phones - zero bezel, 4K display, 4 GB RAM, 8 core CPU...
