A slim phone is always bad news. Either it implies a big phone, small battery and/or both (just look at iphone's huge bezels).
So thinness implies bad ergonomics and even worse battery. Mi4 is ergonomically one of the best phones of '14 . Sad to see Xiaomi taking this step back...

Maybe it depends on what was running in background that eats up battery power of other users real fast. :)

I'm using Mi3 since August 2014 and I'm waiting miracle on 15th of January :D cause of the great experience I'm having with the Mi3 :D

I keep my 3g on for the entire day and I would consider myself a pretty heavy user. So do explain to me why my phone still has 20% of battery when I go to bed even though it's 3g is on for at least 12 hours each day

Everybody knows that WiFi only eats up a lower amount of battery compared to 3G/4G
At most. XiaoMi will NOT last for more than 4 hours at constant 3G/4G connection with regular usage (display on, mobile browsing, gaming, etc)

All we need just a p... moreI use a xiaomi mi3 and it lasts for 2 days with a full charge i have wifi always active and i am a constant texter . plus on heavy usage too at nearly 65% battery i go through an entire day of music n texting over wifi. Xiaomi is doing a commendable job . my experience made me reply to your assumptions about them . trust me it is a marvel

We don't need a thinnest phone at all. All we need just a phone with a good battery backup. All smartphone user relays on internet nowdays. Maybe they should start to think to make a phone that can hold last longer.
