After Gionee, Oppo, and Vivo, Xiaomi just realized they were late for the thin phone party.

If he wants to give his opinion about what he thinks they should do, he can do so. Stop squirting panic babies because someone else doesn't agree with you.

Xiaomi wants to make a thin phone. You don't like it, you have other choices and brands.
        Please stop trolling.

Sometimes touch issues are traced from faulty software/optimizations. If a touch issue arose from the software side of a device and a significant amount of users experience such, OEMs are more than likely to be releasing a fix

I would prefer to have a bigger battery than thinner body, especially considering it's not removable battery.
I would take a phone with 8mm thick and 3500-4000mha battery.

AnonD-333110, 09 Jan 2015And here comes the trolls with OMG thin phones are useless,... moreWrong

There comes a point when these phones become too thin

I don't know when that point is reached so DON'T tell me or anyone a 5.1mm phone is as sturdy as a phone which is 7mm

note also these phone are NOT just getting thinner they are getting longer as they are being "squeezed"

The Gionee Elife S 5.1 may have conquered that "squeezing" as it is also 5.1mm (5.2mm camera bump?) dimension 139.8 x 67.4 x 5.2 mm and comes in at 97.7gm

I consider 140gm an ideal weight for a phone weight to dimension ratio so I don't understand this need to ever be thinner or to ever be lighter.

The iPhone6 + and bendgate is an odd exmaple 7.1mm and 172gm so on the "heavyish" side but it is a phablet

To sell a phone on being both thin and light is NOT for the benefit of the customer, say it does bend, do you really think the company will be in a rush to replace it

So I don't think thin I think fragile.

gionee have dropped 40gm which really should NOT tire anyone out carrying it
