Look like apple made a lot of profit since they alone account for 70 million while the other brands had to fight to make up the amount of android tablets sold.

I am a techy, work within the IT/Telecoms industry and i have an HTC One (M8) and a Blackberry Q5.

i dont see the need for a tablet because a tablet will not do anything more than my HTC will do. plus the fact that the screens will be around the same quality (probably less sharp) makes no difference between a 9inch Nexus 9 (which is what i would buy if i wanted a tablet, HTC fanboy) and my 5inch HTC screen. it just doesnt make sense yet (until the advent of 4k/UHD screens)
