i have bought this phone few weeks ago, yes it is impressive and sexy; but not it has limited use! e-ink screen, you can't read gmail or any other; unless you are using the inbuilt POP/smtp email (mostly business mails. notifications: it detects all but cannot see unless you turn to the amoled screen( supported only inbuilt mail, SMS alarm, calls).
camera is very poor, no auto stabilization, not so fast like samsung or huawei camera.
when battery reach 10%, the e-ink screen can last for about 3 hours on GPRS mode.

But the device is aimed at a particular group of people qho would put the eink display to good use.. Like those who use their phones to read a lot of books.. Or maybe business men who spend quite a large part of day on email etc..

For not scratching the back display they use some special kind of glass called Gorilla Glass 3.. Ever heard of it?

Yes.. If you crack it then it is gonna be a hefty repair bill.

                Yesssss!!!! CANADA!!!!
I always use pull-tab sleeves instead of those 'orrible covers - so this will be perfect. You don't have to worry about either screen getting scratched as you can just place the favored side up on top of the sleeve on dirty countertops.

Two screens means more battery drainage and more prone to accidents like likeliness for more broken screens. Also idea seems stupid. Can't you flip the phone over to see the screen.

When I saw this shape and front screen I immediately thought of my black HTC One S with S4 chip. Ahead of its time at the time but still performs beautifully and feels good in hand with no sharp ridges and nice level of thinness. Be great to see another device like that size with a bit less bezel for slightly larger screen within the same frame. Jus saying..

it's a cool gimmic but how would you place it on a table for instance, I remember I had a samsung phone back in the days ( beyonce's phone I believe ) which had 2 screens and I always felt bad knowing I had to sacrifice one screen when laying it down on a rough surface. I don't want to know the repair costs for the screens if dropped as well.

Is a screen on the back and one on the front?
