Obviously in daily use benchmarks don't mean much..
But the review sites need a way of comparing devices objectively and well benchmarks are the only way to do it..

So 3D mark, Antutu, GfxBench,Geekbench are being used by bots or wtf?
Its fine you don't find any interest them, but others do period.

This population explosion of android is a torture. Your expensive 2014 flagship feels like crap even though there will hardly be any change in the os department. Same os versions different coffins.

I wish GSM Arena and everyone else would stop with these absolutely ridiculous Benchmark results. Nobody cares, I repeat nobody cares about Benchmark results !!!

It beat the others in its class because it is running Lollipop with the new runtime (ART) whilst the others were benchmarked on using the older runtime (Dalvik).
