Unlocked HTC One (M8) receiving Lollipop update in Malaysia

i have got an update on india unlocked htc one m8, here's the process, askhtc they will put your imei in their database, and then you will get update within 1-2 hours. i have got notification just now, will update in evening, they will tell that max time is 45 days as rollout has began in india, however i got it in 2 hours after having a work with their executive

They said that we will get the update, but the window will be opened in phases and it can take 35 days more.
they are punishing us, for buying their product. Similar delay happened during 4.4.4 update. I hope we receive it before Sony Corp and Samsung.

Ok so here is the thing.. all the news about the htc one m8 lolipop update being delayed is for the carrier versions of m8 and according to htc all the unlocked versions have got the update... so where is the update for INDIA?
HTC should take this seriously and provide the OTA ASAP.
Another thing about updating the service pack, well still no update after doing that !
very disappointed in HTC, its like excluding India from the Htc Advantage for 90 days.

Just called HTC India customer care helpline. They asked for the iemi number.
then asked me to visit service centre saying that at the service centre they will backup the device and update the device to lollipop.
is that the case with others as well.
What is this? They say that the update has released since last week.

India deserves the update more than any other country. HTC has said that its market in India has been growing and giving an excellent response. You want a big market and dont want to serve it. I am really dissappointed by this and I think that I wont buy HTC in the future.

K.O android and HTC. You can't compete with God (Apple). My cousins iPhone 4s 2012 runs the latest iOS. Think straight, think smart. Pledge not to buy HTC and android again. No more waits, bug free environment and no matter Ur hardware is ancient but u have the latest os.

Battery life is terrible. 6 am - 6 pm 20... moreSince I posted the other day regarding the overnight battery drain my battery life has started to improve but not by a considerable amount but I can live with how it is now,in hindsight I'd say the lollipop update is worth installing.

Guys don't worry about the battery drain it will be fixed soon

Lee, 29 Jan 2015I got the update in the UK yesterday but now the battery li... moreSame with me here. Battery life is terrible. 6 am - 6 pm 20% of the battery decreased. in Kitkat, it took 1 day to decreased 20%/ :(

I got the update in the UK yesterday but now the battery life is alot worse,my M8 battery dropped by 7% overnight whilst the phone was doing nothing and that certainly would not happen before I had the lollipop update,I wish I had not installed the update and I would advise others to not bother with it battery life is alot worse on 5.0.1
