As a HTC One M8 owner I think they COULD put again the capacitive buttons, as it has a lot of space unused. But saying you're not buying because of that, it's a imbecility. I had move from a 4" phone and even it's being tall, it's very confortable, and never had any problem because of its height. Actually, it would be uglier if it didn't have it. As soon as you get it, you will not even think about it.

Though a ways away as a Nexus fan i am curious as to what the 2015 Nexus will look like...will we have a killer 5.5' screen Nexus phone from Motorola or HTC ??? Also there will be a lot of fine and capable mid-range device from the up and comers.

Android will dominate this year with the Snapdragon 810 64bit processor. I think HTC M9 will be the smartphone to beat with all the topnotch features..

        Other competitors:
        Samsung Galaxy S6
        LG G4

I was also thinking if hTC can chuck off that 1 cm, my money would be definitely our M9.

it's audio, not bcoz "The Beats".I don't like much the Beats especially when Apple bought it.I dare to compare hTC audio vs 3-4 set iPhone 6plus.. i'm only using poweramp player with metalcore sound setup.

i think they need to move the screen down, rather put the logo on top and remove that black bar. it must be at least a centimetre shorter. hopefully these Bose speakers help by taking up less space.

Looking forward to new good looking smartwatches. Moto 360 was on the right track, but far from perfect. I hope the HTC smartwatch will be the one :-)

About the phone, better prepare the buckets already, just like M7 and M8 this will be disgustingly long. As usual HTC will have the disadvantages of iPhones but none of the advantages, and as usual it will not sell well.

I definitely don't want or need a gimmicky fingerprint scanner. A PIN is fine for me! As for a QHD screen, that only reduces battery life quickly on today's hardware without any real difference in screen quality. I'm looking forward to the M9 announcement :)

if the htc have waterproof and fingerprint sensor, never any other brands come close to htc.

I always keep my phone looked and I don't like to have to enter my passcode or patern everytime, especialy if someone is watching. Enjoying the fingerprint scanner on my Mate 7 now and I would not use a phone without one!
