You s... moreDon't like metal, yeah it feels nice but is slippery and every al case phone i have had while charging you get a tingle feel and some times the screen it not as responsive en.g if you had touches the metal and you touch the screen. Does it with my HTC sensation, HTC One M8 and my LG G Pad 8.3 so not model or manufacture.

Andddd in the meanwhile you cwn use powerpacks you know...
Excanging extra battery to gain extra power through the day is soo last decade oldtech fashion...

Non-user removable battery = absolutely failure! This was one the failures of Sony etc so Samsung don't go backwards.

Perhaps they will put their fingerprint sensor on the back and have smaller bezels so that is why they need a glass back.

If the phone has removable battery, you can put in a battery with even 3x bigger capacity, and you won't have to carry another battery/charger. This solves the battery life problem.

Then it won't hold enough charge and your only option will be to carry a bigger/heavier external battery than the phone itself.

you need to charge the batteries anyways, so if you have the software which consumes less battery & a battery that is enough for a day, doesnt matter if its removable or not

-Those who find it normal to replace their phones every year, even if they are flagships
-Those who don't really use their smartphones as smartphones (How many people are saying "Oh my battery is great, it lasts x days...), but why buying a flagship then? total insanity, especially among the manufacturers. 0 common sense.

Why not make metal or glass back cover that snaps on? You still can retain high IP rating and other benefits.

I have had my Galaxy S3 since launch - replaced battery 3 times. Also Galaxy S (first edition) still
lives due to easy battery change.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2015Lol solid comeback. Well done you. He's an apple fan-boy. We can't expect anything more. Plus, they are really starting to get angry for being so brutally scammed with the most overrated crap product on the market. Lol.
Unfortunately, Samsung seems to be yet another company trying to flollow Apple's footsteps as much as possible. But Apple already exists and the most brainwashed consumers are already theirs, so all the rest Apple wannabes will fail for good. We do NOT need more fashionphones. Iphone is enough.

                                And guess what:
to recharge with powerpack you actualy DO NOT NEED to TURN OFF the freakin phone...

Hows that for a more intelligent solution? One you dont need a removable battery at all...
                                Ha?

It is funny though, like an extra battery is an advantage to them against some powerpack to use which is much more convenient

                                  Stupid reasoning...
                                  ?!

No. Having to swap a battery on a mobile with a removable back is early 2000 tech.

Seriously...I don't get it. Carrying extra batteries around is more ideal than charging your device while driving, or at home, or School, or work?

Do you not see your battery is running low? It constantly reminds you via sound and flashing lights.

What on earth are ppl doing that they drain 2 or more full charges on their device in a single day.

Sorry, but checking your Facebook or Twitter or whatever so much that ppl drain multiple batteries is actually a little sad. You're just not THAT important.
