Marduch, 20 Jan 2015But where to put antena then?? There is no other place due ... moreIts about the strip bearing htc logo on the front bottom bezel. htc should make the bottom bezel smaller and equal to the size of the top bezel. It will improve the looks.

Athull, 20 Jan 2015Ridiculous. I mean seriously HTC One is the best looking p... morehtc can look better even for the next 10 years if they make the large bezel at the bottom smaller and equal to the size of the top bezel so the screen would come exactly in the center and the speaker should be placed equa distantly on both sides. The present design is somewhat old like htc one v, htc salsa and others with longer bottom bezel called "chin".

I still have my M7, mainly because m8 had same crappy camera. When the new models came out in Spring 2014, i considered upgrade to new samsung or sony and finally decided its not worth it.

Im running custom rom in there and after almost 2 years, my battery still lasts 2 days, thats pretty impressive considering im business user (lot of calls) and 4G is enabled all the time.

If they actually put decent camera on it, at rest stays on bar as well, they'll get my money as soon as m9 hits the shelves.

Not sure if there is anything to like about the styling.

Sure there is a new 20mp camera but.... is there anything to attract us to the ubiquitous hTc?

im just wondering if this is the same phone I saw in the movie Taken 3 (watch it last weekend in the theater)...but the actor keeps covering the HTC logo (not part of the ad) when it is being closed up.

if this is not a fake one, htc did not anything after 1 year time for thinking of things what their fans did complain they just go with bether proccesor and bether cammera... andabout big bazels, everyone who did defend atlitude that big bazels are good, keep that atlitude for your dudes, cos chinese companies for example did go far in small bazels and puting 3500 + batteries in slimmer designs, and if u say, HTC logo on front with 1 cm is good, you are wrong, if u say that is cos the speakers, you are wrong again (speakers are not bigger then 1cm), we did see that lg and many companies did put much bigger screens in same (m8) dimensions ...

Love it but an HTC logo Engraved in the back would be much better than the current option and would allow for a slightly more compact design.

                        From my point of view:

HTC logo is wasting space in the front screen. But they can use it by makinig logo as capasitive home screen in middle. In left back button and ringt resent app button will also be placed for proper navigation.

looks the same as the m8, that's not going to be good.. not going to feel like much of a change.. they are doing what samsung did with the S5. Big mistake now samsung is paying for that mistake and redesigning the S6 ground up.

Man I don't know but it looks uglier than the M8, not that the M8 is a bad looking phone but they could be screwing them selves like samsung did with the S5. You cant make it look the same and make it uglier looking with bigger bezels and have no change at all cept the internals and a new camera, its not going to be enough to grab peoples attention in a big way and sell some phones.. if it doesn't look a little sexy at least and feel like it truly is something new. The S5 was uglier than the S4 with bigger bezels on the sides. Not much change as far as the look of it which is why now samsung says they are going to rebuild it from the ground up possible with an entirely new design.

If they wanted to make the phone smaller with the same screen they could. Look @ LG G3.. so don't tell me it's there for a reason, more than likely it's not.

So that we could have a choice in design and features.
I, for one, think that the black bar with HTC Logo was useful on the M7, because it had capacitive buttons and that allowed for precious screen space not to be used up. On M8 however, its just that - a wasted space that does nothing.
