Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 to be announced officially next week

Regardless of whether there are scrabble keys on the Vulcan or not, i will be getting it(and cancelling my X1 plan) because i am itching to get the wm6.5 and a decent camera on the winmo platform.
i own an X1a-(and am disapponited in the limited video recording capacity that the X1i has) and given that it is windows, it is a great phone to use. the panels interface is not gimmicky as i know some have said- because with panels out like the SPB shell v3 and PointUI home 2(almost completely remove the underlying windows appearance), and since i find a panel like these about once a month, it gives my phone a breath of fresh air and a nice new look and feel.
I will stick to the winmo platforms, because no other phone OS is anywhere near as customiseable as winmo. a good example is how with a simple program, i can turn on the flash on my camera into a flashlight- a function that would only normally be accessible via turning on the camera and then the flashlight on.

You speak only for yourself about looks. I like the x1 design and so if x2 looks the same I'll like it too lucky not every 1 has the same taste then world would have been boring.
I like my x1 and enjoy it every bit, all my friends laughed when I got it and though less of it and went nokia and samsung exct. now they have the freezes ,hardboots and swearings and me crying of laughter , you know the saying the 1 that's laughs last laughs the most.

I feel sorry for Sonyericsson, i was a big fan before.. Well i think the marketing team of this company needs a lot of shaking.. The introduction of Iduo gave SE a shining spark of hope but its taking too long to come out that gives other companies chance to show a more and more! leaving Iduo behind......... far behind..... SE!!!!!!!!!! Wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am an Omnia i900 owner, and a WM fan.
The Omnia II with the lack of an upgraded camera to 8MP a major disappointment, as well as the lack of stereo sound.
This X2, however, sounds promising for 2009 as it has not been released yet.
I just hope that after the official announcement of the phone specs that the phone will be released asap (e.g. late October - early November). Otherwise, it seems to be almost pointless.

If they make somehow the X2 with android than it would be a nice phone, too bad the X3 doesn't have qwerty keyboard.

another xperia better put an X to these devices because its always late to come out...samsung really innovates...iphone is rock solid features that works...sony hmmmm better get a bravia tv...all the best to all
