Also HTC is currently following Samsung doomed steps using almost identical design for their other phone models.

Can't come any close to the M7's or M8's design. That's the truth! The M7 won an award for best designed phone of 2013 and the M8 is hugely favored/loved by the tech community and is rated the best phone of 2014 by many tech reviewers.

wow... really the "stupidness" of people posting on the forum, and how blind they can be and how moronic they sound with their stupid comments.
the "plus" word is in no way trademark of any company. Samsung used it, HTC used it, apple used it... so plz enough with the low IQ comments.
and the design? just lol ... Iphone clearly copied the design of the M8 no one can argue about that ... the M9 is an upgrade of the design of the M8... how can anyone say that HTC is copying the design of Iphone is beyond me.
P.S. i am posting using my HTC one X PLUS ... oh wait ... maybe HTC copied that name from Iphone 6 and 6+... back in 2012.

HTC came out with a phablet way before Apple. Are the Apple fans ever gonna face reality. Apple is the one always following, never been a leaderin anything real amongst open minded intelligent people. Most of us were sliding thru our pictures on our touchscreen smartphones way before there was an iPhone.

And the original lawsuit was about some stupid patented IOS stuff, not the design of the phone, which should not be allowed.

Some history facts for the blind HTC fans:
In 2012 Apple and HTC signed a big cross license agreement for 10 years in which HTC has the access of apple designs and patents in return of royalty payments.
In 2013 HTC One (M7) came out and it was using most of the iphone design trademarks.
The iphone 6 and 6+ is using the ipod touch 5th generation design (released 2012)
So basicly HTC is paying Apple in order to copy them.

Wow it looks great, but I am a little bit disappointed about the journalists who follow the cellphones production and analysts, they seem to be always looking for something small from HTC phones and comment negatively about it. I love htc, it is the most beautiful designs and functions...May they please give us a better 2015 with best camera improvements.

I love the look! I will say that I am very disappointed that the M9 doesn't have a fingerprint scanner!! Did I read that the new Lollipop has a face detector in the software? If so, that would negate the need for the FP scanner. Can someone please confirm?

I'm glad they're working on shrinking the bezels and getting rid of the ridiculous huge bezel below the screen with the HTC logo (at least on the regular phone, the Plus still has this ridiculous design).
But could it look any more like the iPhone 6? The original One remains the best looking and most original of the designs. They should just go back to that.
