Nokia officially announce N97 mini and unveil X3 and X6

02 September, 2009
The long rumored Nokia N97 mini finally got officially announced today with no surprises. What got us by surprise though is Nokia's first X series devices - the touch-based X6 and the cheaper slider X3...

Well its NOT really common to have same series or index from different manufacturers. It would have been better for Nokia to make it "XM" instead "X" series to kill this controversy. To many of us X stands for Xperia since it's already there in the market. Interestingly Nokia now came up with X for XpressMusic. Few days back they have released 5230 when we already have Samsung5230 star. They could have easily avoid the same numbers. It's not a good practice in my opinion. Thanks

I'd rather pay 50euros more n have N900! Coz N900 is way more superior than this crap! N Meamo5 looks quite a promising platform than this dumb S60 touch OS! Crap!

The same configuration with the copied names from Sony Ericsson. Next Sony Ericsson release their X2 and X3, then Nokia have to run away with their low end camera phones.

The x and c series means nothing. We were expecting good change and innovation with the new series. Why nokia has stopped innovation and change after n95 and n82, its been such a looong time.
