David, 03 Sep 2009So basically you are saying that people that buy Nokia are ... moreEricsson does nothing, the whole phones are made by Sony and thats why I like this brand, because its a super quality. everything in my home is Sony (TV, Laptop, Game Console, and my phone). Im sure SE will soon lead the world

[deleted post]So basically you are saying that people that buy Nokia are dumb? Well then i guess that makes you are super dumb, cause Nokia has official contracts to phones with custom security tweaks to 107 different world goverments including US, European and Asian military, aka the people that runs your ass in your country. They have official contracts to supply 329 companies on the Fortune 500 list with E-series devices. And if you think that Sony is bad at marketing then you must live somewhere in village with a wheel and stick for entertainment, and without access to any media. Just face the truth, Sony Ericsson is Nokia shoe shining boy, and i am a Swede, i live in Sweden, where Ericsson should be a pride, but we are basically ashamed of them.

however i work in mobile phone sales and i wouldnt say SE were brilliant... E.G C905 by far one of the worst phones ive ever used....
some nokia phones are rubbish but aimed at the right market like you said.
how ever to call all of nokia's products rubbish is unfair

TRUE - Nokia do dominate the market, but that does not stop there handsets being Cr*p. It all down to good marketing and sales incentives. Its all about the marketing people, all about Marketing and like suckers we all fall for it.

Aaaahhh, at last! Finally a Japanese brand phone that I could get with WM.
Screw Samsung with the Omnia HD or Omnia II. They ain't real "Omnia" HD or II.
This X2 is definitely the WM phone of the year 2009: keyboard, 8MP camera, and stereo speakers! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just hope the processor speed is up-to-date with excellent graphic output of course.
Once again, screw (with a power screwdriver or whatever) Samsung. I have loved the i900, but this year Omnias release are all commercial garbage. If Samsung wants to work like GM with one platform but with different models, that is fine. Just sink like GM please, and get out of my face.
X2 is the way to go with Microsoft launch of the WM 6.5 in October. I am glad that I have held off my purchase of any WM phone up until now.

What is all this with Nokia not being innovative or good enough? I think the recent 2 years E71/E72, E75, 6700 Classic, N900, X6, X3, N97, N86, Arte Series, Navigator Series and Supernova series are innovative enough. Did you know that only the N-series alone has since 2006 sold more phones than SE whole productline since SE was established. Fighting and arguing is not gonna annything as long as Nokia can come to your door and shove their market share up you a** if they wanted too. The truth is that Nokia dominates the cell phone world and sells phones beyond the dreams of SE. Arguing with passion on uncertain grounds is admirable, but arguing over facts is just the sign of frustration.

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2009SE X2 IS A youthful and energetic phone whereas N900 IS ol... moreAn hour ago N900 was the "youth based communicator", and now you're telling me the X2 is now the youthful device, and not the business phone anymore....Now it's the other way around??? and now being a business phone is a bad thing?? Nerdies??
Maybe you like enjoy living in a stone age world, where being a nerd is a bad thing. Technology shapes the very world we live in today. Hell, the computer, keyboard, internet you're typing on was inverted by "nerdies".
Or maybe you need to grow up and perceiving the technology that you are IRONICALLY using today is nerdy.
Facepalm..

WIn7RTM, 03 Sep 2009Youth based communicator? Where did it say that?
Oh I ... moreAnd it would make sense to say that Nokia never made anything innovative since N95. Why? Because we're all closed minded. I could say the same thing about iPhone, considering the only specific thing that changed was the firmware (They don't make copying and pasting a remotely big deal at WM). Other than that, same design, and then say that Nokia hasn't changed. And then the only change in Xperia is the buttons (and camera < N86), and they Nokia isn't raising the bar. Oh lord the irony.
Whatever though. This isn't the first time over 9000 of GSMarena's commentators are anti-Nokia, searching high and low to find ways to fault the brand. They still outsell not because of fanboys (lolwut??). They sell because they know what the people want. Dispute me if you like, the facts are laid out right there..

The 2 MOST IMPORTANT things when buying a new phone. It Must NOT run Windows Mobile & must NOT be made by Nokia. Oh and try and stay away from touch screens if you can. Stick to that and you wont go far wrong.
