Running 4.4.4 stock, there still isn't a faster smoother phone out there. If the price of the G2 is the same though. Consider the G2 as the battery is Epic.

Nexus 5 is still a perfect smartphone.
I'd be glad if Google released a new version of it, which has a better battery (at least 3000mAh) and a new SoC, e.g. SD810, and larger storage (32-64GB).

I have best of both worlds 64GB iPhone 6 & a 16GB Nexus 5 that i use for work or nights out, still love the Nexus 5 and have no problems with Lollipop 5.0.2 on mine & still be a decent phone in 2015.
But I'm hoping Google see sence this year & make a 5.2" Nexus with the Snapdragon 810, QHD screen 3 or 4GB of ram and offer both 32GB & 64GB and scrap 16GB, and improved camera with 4K recording & better battery life, also drop Motorola and give it back to LG or let Sony or HTC have a go.

Daddy of all phones! Smoothest of all phones even though it was launched in 2013! Thanks to stock android and all the mods and awesome develoer support and love for this king of smartphones on xda!

Why still charge the same price...not that i am interested. The 32GB should be under $350 and the 16GB under $300. Lets not forget the 2015 flagships are just around the corner...time for a reduce sale of last years devices.
