Without regional after sale support in most countries, it's very difficult to justify buying one of these. Especially with all the problems that have been reported. Yes, it's priced low but other OEMs also have phones at similar prices.

Am using One plus One almost for 5 - 6 months now, am really happy with my purchase,Am from India, consider yourself you have bought a SAM's S5 or HTC's M8 for 40K - 45K as soon has they have made it available in india, I don't see its a good buy because its price is 35K to 37K now. See i have bought 1=1 for 22k and upto my knowledge I haven't compromised on any thing Screen is good, even though some of the 1+1 customer have raised concerned about yellow tint in the screen. my 1+1 one screen is amazing and everything runs good, games, Full HD videos am happy with my buy at the same time many customer who bought Sam's S5 and HTC M* are ready to give away their phone for my 1+1. I call this as a success for a start up company. Am waiting for One + two to get released.

It's too late. One Plus One missed the boat. They should have done this when interest was high. By now most people have shifted their attention to other phones. I am not buying unless the lower the price, then I may consider.

Has problem in video call and voice call like skype hangouts viber. Keeps your voice echoing on the other line. They dont fixed it. Its useless for VIOP

This is the most unavailable "freely" available phone in existence.

If ever there were a case of the solution being worse than the problem, the whole invite process made getting one of these phones far more of a pain, then just ordering and waiting if necessary, like normal phones.

It's one thing to try a new idea. But it was long ago obvious that the invite process was a huge fail and just annoying people. There's no excucse for sticking with this burdensome process.

I suspect that the demand for the phone really isn't as high as OnePlus likes to pretend. By keeping the invite process going on a phone that could be "freely" available every day (in other words for sale like a normal product), OnePlus creates the illusion of scarcity and exclusivity, for a device that just turned out to fall short of demand expectations.

The title is super misleading. I thought they were giving away OnePlus Ones for free ($0) on Tuesdays.

I don't see why anyone would buy this now. It's been nearly a year since its release (not to mention the snapdragon 801's availability) and with 2015's flagships just around the corner, it would not be wise to purchase the "One" now. Might as well wait for the "Two" if you really want the OnePlus thing... although judging by how HORRIBLE their invite/sale scheme was, the "Two" won't be readily available till 2016.

I have already changed this dumb mobile 3 times. All the 3 times I had that piss yellow tint at the bottom of the screen.Even the new Jan model has it too global as well as Indian versions. Whats more alarming is the casual "its all ok and its a feature"attitude of the company. Camera is not all that great too. All this is a big hype from OPO and its customers. Thats all

Nice phone, but was too big for me. And despite the producent sayings yellow tint still exists. So I sold it after around one month of usage.
