i dont think the update will come because the developers only develop stable rom/update for new devices and as note 2 is very old device if the update comes than it would come very late or it wont come. and if its late then possible chances are they will skip lollipop and redirect it to marshmellow.

Please release lolipop 5.0 for note 2.... it has long been.... i have note 2 now running 4.4.2.... if have release then samsung company would win....

ts time to forget Samsung now. Go with a cheap mobile which gives latest OS. Even though Note2 has 2GB RAM, samsung is not providing Lollipop update to it. Let us leave samsung in the future.

simply Samsung busy with other model not interested in note 2 to push to lollipop. even note 4 failed in lollipop final stage byt they pushed even though it to lollipop.

Yashod, 28 Oct 2015Samsung note II (GT-N7100) is my best companion, but it tem... moreIt will not get lollipop as samsung declared previously in this month that this device failed lollipop test at final stage of release so finally it will not be updated to latest os anymore.Better to switch to new cheap mobile with latest os or put custom os or galaxy note 4 os in your mobile to give it new look like me.try eclipse version 4 in your mobile which is very smooth.

Samsung note II (GT-N7100) is my best companion, but it tempting towards advanced versions, it is time to release lollipop 5.0 to note II in India. If still delays samsung ardent customers will change over to other brands like me.
