Gibby, 13 Feb 2015Despite the so far mostly negative reactions to this S6 dev... moreI feel that Samsung this time is trying their best to sell S6.

Last year is kinda disastrous to Samsung.

Their Chairman had health problem.

S5 didn't do well.

You could tell that Samsung this time is trying to make S6 a real Samsung-blooded phone. They abandoned using Snapdragon. They chose their own processor, Exynos7420. Almost all components of S6 are from Korea...well...the metal frame is coming from a provider in China called BYK.

Anyway, Samsung obviously trying to regain its reputation in mobile market. No matter what the result is, their trying is highly appreciated.

Despite the so far mostly negative reactions to this S6 device - I do like Samsung's references to 'What's next' & 'the next' thing etc in their marketing. Reflects their constant endeavor for innovation & progression. No one can deny them that.
Even though they have a history of rushing head-long in to releasing devices that sometimes don't work out - at least they're trying.
Unlike a lot of other OEMs who seem to consider refinement is innovation. It is - but it's no where near as progressive. That's why, for all their failings, I can't knock Samsung too harshly....

That 20 MP primary camera of S6 might be the best in taking pictures under any kind of circumstance. I can see that more people will choose to buy S6 for wanting to take decent photos and selfies.
