hey ths phn is priced at 1ok wth 2gb in india boy... a much better option thn the 5530 guys.. 5530 wl be prced at 14k acc. to users reviewsw on the site.. so star wifi cool i guess...

All those guy's/girls sitting on the fence....First of all Samsung played dirty in releasing Samsung STAR Whithout WI-FI to capture the Asian markets and then to increase market share it has added WI-FI now as it knows that there are few takers for 3G Technology and Hot-Spots are increasing.
Though i am an old SAMSUNG Fan and have used this Brand for the last 7 years. I Recently bought NOKIA 5530 MODEL for the first time 20 days back i am happy with it in all ways.[Except for Moderate Looks] Its ease of technology in websurfing-Camera-Music-Podcasting-screen is much better than SGH-Star.
Wait till its price drops to Rs 12000/- In INDIA which i think is a decent price....then buy it.

in thailand, star wifi is already sold 3 wks ago
in my opinion, i rather pick nokia 5530 more than star wifi which cost nearly same price tag in Thailand with symbian os, 3.5mm jack, lot better headset and 4gb MicroSDHC shipped with

Sim, 12 Sep 2009this is verry ditry of samsung to sell first without wifi a... morewell, its no suprise. not the first time they did it. and i think nokia does that a lot more. theres a few handset that nokia just added wifi only and resold it. or repackaged it with something like no charger and call it environmentally friendly. or just add a movie and a few new themes and resell it for more. or even just adding xpressmusic and call it XM edition. they also have like, internet edition. which is exactly the same but with a hardware button replaced and turned to a button that activates the web broswer. all of this is bs. u should know better, thats why u never buy a new phone right when i releases.

this is verry ditry of samsung to sell first without wifi and then sell with wifi they could change something in it, everthing is the same as the old one...verry dity of samsung...the even don't come with new colours or look!! and what will happen to the people how bought it witout wifi XD. happenly i didn't bought this phone.

Yaaayyyy..... finally star with WiFi!!!!! this is gonna be 5530 rival..... Star interface is WAYY better than Nokia 5530 except for the resolution... (240*400 vs 640*360 pixel) i don't need the 3G because it's soo damn expensive in my country.... this is real winner!

Its out in Dubai for USD 245. I cant make up my mind coz i was about to buy the Nokia 5530 & now this has come-out, a real dillema! anyone got any tips/advice?
