I love my Butterfly 2, it's the best phone I've ever had. I just wish there was a dual-SIM version.

Hey HTC,
Before you release Butterfly 3, please update HTC One Max with Android 5 Lollipop.

it should have the battery of the butterfly s, that is at least 3000mAh. the butterfly 2 had a disappointing battery.

This probably won't be released worldwide due to it cannibalising One M9 sales but a least is caters to resolution heads.

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2015flagships can be more than one from on company.True, however, in this case the Butterfly 3 might be perceived as the better phone (screen resolution has become a big thing) and the M9 as the inferior choice. The previous butterfly was not available in some markets the last time. At that point they might even be handing potential customers to other manufacturer's.

Higher resolution than the HTC One (M9)?...It would be competing against its own flagship.

The (W)ide COULD denote a slightly wider format.
Similar to the 2048x1080 (Cinema2K) versus FHD, this COULD be a factor 16/15 wider, e.g. 2732x1440.
