18 February, 2015
Far ahead of early Snapdragon 810 results, it also beats Nvidia's Denver cores.

AnonD-354781, 18 Feb 2015You mean barring Nvidia. Yes, that is correct. I was thinking of A8Xin iPad air 2 being ahead of tegra k1. But then tegra x1 is coming now, so it is a fierce battle between apple and nvidia at the moment on GPU front. Others are just watching this which is rather unfortunate.

This goes back to what I was saying about HTC listening to their customers. If the rumors for the M9 turns out to be accurate, I'm going to throw money at them.

AnonD-354781, 18 Feb 2015Proof?May be he is talking about on-screen GPU benchmarks. HTC sensibly put FHD display vs Samsung's QHD display. But in that case, HTC has to win those battles comfortably due to huge resolution difference. Else, we can safely say, Qualcomm is way behind Samsung.

I'm more excited for The HTC One M9, if I'm being honest, because HTC is listening to their customers and giving them what they want this time around, and frankly I'm not a fan of AMOLED technology. My S5 suffers from screen burn-in, and I've only had it for two months. And, sure, the S6 is expected to be faster, but The HTC One M9 should be plenty fast for my needs.

Those benchmarks are identical to the HTC One M9, so I don't see a big improvement due to the Exynos 7420.

The point I was trying to make is that higher megapixels doesn't necessarily mean better pictures. The note 4, in most scenarios, does produce better pictures, no one can deny that, but the software tends to oversharpen the results.

Just check the shootouts between iPhone 6+ and Note 4 (Phone Arena) , the iPhone got the edge in 1 of 6 categories, the Note 4 had superior results even in low light situations. iPhone has eye candy results but they're not natural and details are low compared to most current flagships. Even the Nexus 6 got better results.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015*AHEM*ever heard of a thing called "core architecture"?Have you ever heard of thing called "Irony" ?

I know what the "core architecture " is. I Just mentioned that, to beat the Denver 2 cores, both SD and exynos needs 8 cores. That only shows, how much better Nvidia ,as Chip designer and Manufacturer , is over Sammy and Snappy.

For all guys , going crazy with that eight core Mobile CPU-s, Measuring Performance by Core count is like measure Car HP with it's cylinder count. Porsche's Flat Turbo-Six's are more powerful than GM's old V8.
