Right. Just when the soc gets more power efficient, they shrink the battery in favor of a thinner chassis. Why not keep make the battery a bit bigger or just keep the same capacity instead, so we users can actually sense a much higher increase in battery life? This thinness and screen size craze gets even more ridiculous every year.

Sealed-in battery with a lower capacity than the previous model? You blew it, Samsung. Twice.

Don't too believe it,because it's only rumor.I think they won't make very slim and small capacity non-removable battery. The galaxy S series don't always get slimmer in it's revolution (7.9mm(s4) vs 8.1mm(s5)).And they have galaxy A series for slim, small capacity battery and non-removable battery

And they always increase battery capacity in galaxy S series revolution, and they don't want galaxy s paper spec far behind it's competitor

Retrograde step, Samsung, no matter what the new SOC might be , should have gone with at least 3500 mAh, so that S6 owner could look forward to a whole Full day of active battery life.

Still hope that this is fake rumor.
If the S6 battery is not at least two days of solid use, non-removable battery is HUGE flop. Water resistance could make some point though(if there is)

AnonD-43988, 19 Feb 2015The talk about better hardware and Lollipop is all fine, bu... moreThe Note 4's 5.7 inch QHD Amoled uses 40% less power than 5inch 1080p LCD. This will be a newer and more efficient 5-5.2inch version.

Plus new and efficient SoC, UI, memory, combined radio chip, and others.

So it will last longer. Larger battery would still be better anyway

What we need to do is just act as a normal human being, and don't buy these expensive phones. It's not worth the money. I have bought an Acer Liquid Jade for 200 euro, after having a Galaxy S5, Lumia 930 and other expensive phones. The Acer phone can seriously compete with the others. Also the Liquid Jade S is coming out very soon, just google it. Save yourself hundreds and hunderds of euros, dollars, millions of rupees or whatever.
