Most companies never say who... moreDon't want to be rude or defend Lenovo there, but stop your drama about spyware, recheck the info : it was just some adware on some lenovo PCs between september and december, not actually phones. Which got disabled through update way before you and i read the news.
I mean i'm sure the other brands also have their share of shady programs but we don't read the news over here.

Definitely a Superfish phone. It's the successor to the Babelfish, with the primary innovation that it sucks your cerebral cortex out through your ear and replaces it with a marketing database, then you walk around and babel advertisements to people on the side walk. In the future, you are the advertisement.

The Chinese are rubbish at PR. Most companies never say who their parent company is, because it gives the impression that they are independent and also shields them from any bad news of the parent company e.g. lenovo's spyware. I know many people who have said they would never buy a product from company X, even though Y is part of X!

Gonna take a shot and say the Spiral 3 development kit for Ara is up for order exclusively from Motorola's website. With the following starter option:

>Consumer
Developer ARA kits will come with the full package. A test/logic board, transfer cables, battery tester, and Endo Skeleton.
Consumer kit will just feature the endo plus stock (potentially TOSHIBA) branded modules.
At least, that's what I want to hear...
