The Galaxy S6 Home key may be taller for the fingerprint sensor?

23 February, 2015
The taller key will supposedly enable Samsung to use a non-swipe fingerprint sensor.

I was diagnosed of Parkinson's Disease a couple of years ago, I had severe fatigue, difficulty with mobility and sleeping. I was given medications which helped but only for a short while. So i decided to try alternative measures and began on Parkinson's HERBAL TREATMENT from Kycuyu Health Clinic, It made a tremendous difference for me (Go to their website www. kycuyuhealthclinic. com ). I had improved walking balance, muscle strength and improved vision

while you guys are slugging it out.. samsung and apple are living in peace ...

AnonD-146024, 23 Feb 2015Implementing an exiting tech in a better way isn't bad &... moreLike the apple maps debacle.
A deceiving video full of deceptive nonsense for the gullible , wonder if the guy who made the video (Best software experience ever for the customer blah etc etc.)
        1. Knew it was no good and lied ?
        2. Didn't even bother to check the finished product, as he could just spout the usual iguff and the birks would fall for it, even if they had neglected to put any actual map software on the phone at all. (Oooo muy aiiiphone you know, have you seen the video best software ever you kno.)
        3. Boyo wants to be honest, and leave the software out, but, is over rule by those above him (Maybe tiny tim and crowd.) because they won't stand one more day of google thier arch rival earning money on thier phone platform, so they deliberatly release bad unfinished software so they can earn more money, from thier own map app immediately(yes that's them with the already hundreds of billiiiiiions.) and who cares about the loyal idiot's, just make a video an tellem its the best ever, put on your best false half laugh an draw em in, an some extra syrup on your manufactured best slow tone, an they'll slurp it up an go around telling others its the best, doing our job for us. O an while your at it stickem with some robot guff to take care of the light bleed situation,
an ram em with a lil chrystall lense line to smoke screen the pink camera lensing, if your real good, we might slip in a word to Hollywood for ya an good ol british hm might rill a lil tit bit for ya.,?
Which if the the three scenarios would you find the most innovateing
and surely(note. .must stop calling you shurly.) non of it could be classed as evil.

Striker, 23 Feb 2015Only three years after Apple, the copycats(a.k.a. Samesunk)... more"... that their swipe sensor sucks and now will implement a normal one..."

WTF? Swipe FPS ARE the normal ones! The non-swipe variants are way more expensive (which is one reason why the IP6 is so bloody expensive. The swipe ones haven been around MUCH longer (e.g. Acer M900 and various laptops).

I reckon the only reason why Samsung now is about to use a non-swipe one because they have gone down in price and because some "professionals" (AKA dumbo review-sites) complain about them.

I have no problem at all with swipe FPS on my S5. It works MUCH better then any swipe fps that I have ever used (on a laptop).

nemesh73, 23 Feb 2015that is exactly what apple does, but for fanboys if apple d... moreThat's exactly my thought. If Apple implemented an idea excellently (which they actually copied from another) then another tries also to implement that idea though in a different way, iFans should not cry that it's copied from Apple. Let others develop their own way. That's how we find the best way, that's how we progress.

[deleted post]No, it's just Apple having a more pretentious design philosophy these days.

This criticism applies to a certain degree, towards all manufacturers... Not just Samsung, Apple, Microsoft/Nokia, etc...
