Part of me tells me HTC is involved in some major toying with us..probably willfully releasing the last videos and then hit us with an amazing device on the 1st...at least i am hoping.
I think Sammy is also getting in on the fun on the other end by poking fun at some of the rumors.

We have seen the M8 for a year now...nothing there to stare at. All the cryptic talk makes me hope we are gonna see something new and captivating. All the noise some folks at HTC have been making better mean something...not just an M8 with better internals

Am I the only one that thinks "let them stare" refers to the all new design we saw from evleaks?
I'm not convinced by the videos upleaks posted because the bezel of the phone changes throughout the video which makes me think that the video is not genuine

I'm so disappointed about HTC because they dropped HTC One M7 form factor and released M8 and seems that M9 will look the same, with those rounded & slippery edges, taller, thicker etc... I have both M8 and M7 and after lollipop update I'm so in love with my M7 - battery improved a lot, Sense is brilliant....seems that M7 is and will be my only love, in terms of communication technology, for a long time. M9 looks so common...Samsung G S6 = Iphone 6 = HTC M9 in terms of design

on my understanding about the video, it says the m9 has the htc signature "purple tint". lol hahahahahaha

I see t... moreThis image is morphed off htc e8 with a small speaker grill on th top and a large grill on the bottom which spoils the aesthetics. The real m9 is different with full glass front and the dual speaker grills which is of equal size on the top and bottom bezels. m9 plus has a home key/ fingerprint sensor on the bottom bezel.

I've got my yearly bonus, planned to spend it on new anticipated m9. Got wife approval( the most important issue).
But after looking these almost official leaks I really2 disappointed and may keep my Droid Maxx for one more year.
I love boomsound and HTC design on m7, but m8 camera made me skip. This time m9 black bar and camera bump will almost certain to prevent me from spending such large amount on old boring 2013 design. I saw E8 at store it is so thin and long. Never touch m8 but I'm sure the look is the same.
Would be better if HTC make the screen bit wider adding size to 5.2" so it doesn't look stupendously long!
I feel sorry for this but you're not getting my money with only new camera on old m8 design. Still have little hope the final look may be different, but usually HTC dissapoints. The last time I think HTC pull it off was original Desire, which sold like cakes :)

What I think is that htc will announce 2 phones ( htc m9 and htc m9 plus ) the edge to edge glass front will be htc m9 plus.

Oh and the real life performance will be down, the big cores will be activated only when running useless benchmarks, for normal use we will have to suffer with the super weak A53 cores, ref the Galaxy tab S, thats the real life performance of BIG.little, incredible slow and laggy, cant even run simple games without constantly dropping lots of frames. I believe that iPhone is the only way to get real life performance this year, this octa and big.little frenzy is only disadvantages in real life.

Even though I have been worked-up on some of my comments about the most recent leak that shows an M8 looking device with prominent logo bar and all..I am still not convinced that is what we will see on the 1st.

Anyway, the latest leaks has confirmed that M9 is approximately as stupendously long as the M8, thats a big nono. Also the camera bump is a dealbreaker. Sorry to say it HTC but this is not what people want, this is no more successful than M8 and will not save the company from being near bankruptcy. Give me one reason why people who like superlong phones and camera bumps will not buy iPhone 6 instead? That way at least they get a good OS and features that will actually be used in real everyday life instead of the endless Android gimmick features that people turn off after a month.
