I think that seemed a bit weird but yeah... then that would be huawei or samsung. And the kirin 950 rumors seem pretty noce haha and now these rumor that a chinese manufacturer will make the nexus.soo yeah i guess it will be huawei.

Blech. I was really hoping there would be an Motorola follow up (I like their designs by far the best), but in the 5" form factor.

Hopefully it won't be something huge above 5 inches. if it's more than 5 inch I will refuse to buy it. I'm still dicking around with my nexus 5 because of this.

i think it's very good choice,i've tested huawei top line phones and it's very good..so combining that with google tech and target specs i think huawei would offer both best price and tech..unlike the nexus 6 price..

AnonD-329938, 01 Mar 2015nooooo pls not huawei -_- we dont need kirin or mtk based n... moreGoogle will most likely use Qualcomm chipsets even if Huawei is given the nod. Sammy makes the Exynos chips and they made two Nexus devices, but I am not sure they used those on the Nexus devices(not sure what chip was used on the Nexus S). So if we had a choice of ONLY Chinese OEMs to make the next Nexus device...my first pick will be Huawei, then followed by Lenovo/Motorola.

My next smartphone will be Huawei which is the best player on the market now.

A Dual-Sim Nexus is my dream, only Huawei can make it happen

Actually Huawei is a massive company. I could be wrong but aren't they the worlds second biggest manufacturer of phones and other telecommunications stuff.

Huawei can easily pull it off, but i prefer Huawei not do so. They have their own budget line of Honor phones and no reason to get into Nexus line. Plus most of Nexus users are from US and most Americans are illiterate about the world outside US, so Huawei is going waste their time convincing them.

This clone phone can price their phone lower than the big name because they dont put money into research, they just copy paste from the big names like samsung apple or sony, and so on.

Yes lets forget nokia, sony, samsung blackberry , ericsson, motorola , htc and LG, and someday we can only choose buwawei or meizu lol, clone phone have destroyed the real innovator with their copy paste design and features.

I personally don't care if the next Nexus will be made by Huawei or any other Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian or Indonesian OEM. Lots of you here seem to forget that the due dilligence on prototyping QC are half Google's job. And it's not like the $650 Moto Nexus 6 shamu are totally flawless, got its own build quality issues as well.

Imho of all Chinese OEMs I'd pick either Oppo or OnePlus because only these 2 have shown willingness to open up to custom ROMs. But at other aspects such as design and build quality I don't think Huawei is a bad idea at all. Not sure if they're willing about including their Kirin SoC but we'll see.

Huawei's a good brand and i want Huawei to make the high end one, NOT LG. Hate me if you want, but Huawei makes it's own chipset, LG does not and Huawei's chipset is a freaking beast, that is pretty fast, with the world's first 16mn chip on a cellphone. Many people actually wish for A Huawei premium device with stock android since i dare to say Huawei's strengths is in Aesthetics and Build Quality. Huawei's OS looks pretty bad and that's the only bad part
