....Just can't get my head around Samsung losing so many features for the sake of - what? Slippery, fingerprint prone, drop un-friendly glass.
The one thing I'm hoping for tomorrow is to eat my words and be wrong about these S6 rumors.
Common Samsung - prove us all wrong...

I have been using Samsung Galaxy devices since the first Galaxy S arrived. I only skipped the S3 because I was too much in love with my S2 at that time. I own S5 now. Its a good phone has all the features and much much much more.. Mostly bloatware but still pretty nifty features.. I was never an iphone lover nor ever will be since it is not a device its more3 of a fashion accessory... altghough it is very good for the hardware that it hosts yet it has no value for money in my eyes... I have been waiting anxiously for S6 but I dont understand Samsung everyyear it takes out one flaw from there previous flagship and put two new ones in. They finally changed teh body for a more premium feel but took out water-proofing and no SD card. Now thats stupid... Other than that the Touchwiz UI is very good and smooth but is a massive RAM eater. We can live without a heart sensor on phone but dont take teh features which are defining the mobile industry evolution and enhancing the durability of the phone...THINK FROM CUSTOMER'S PERSPECTIVE SAMSUNG... YOU ARE NOT MAKING PHONES FOR SAMSUNG EMPLOYEES BUT FOR THE MASSES!

AnonD-341196, 01 Mar 2015That restriction equals performance and security. https... morePerformance? More like the iPhone has less features that I really use. I'm a Galaxy Note user since it came out 3 years ago. Nothing Apple came up, not even the iBend 6+, has split multi-function screen or a Wacom digitizer pen for productivity and more things to do.

Security? I buy my apps from Playstore, and Apple is not as 100% secure either.

SD card can be used for mp3s and movies, so kitkat's limitation is irrelevant, not to mention there are several workarounds (Some implemented by default by manufacturers).
Cloud? You gotta be kidding me. One has nothing to do with the other. Physical memory is for real-time usage, cloud is for backup.
Good battery life will compensate? Well first, it's impossible it will be good enough (Lasting a day with whatever usage. Can't happen, not with a 2500-2600mah battery). And even if it's good enough, for how long? An year later it will start deteriorating and it will no longer be enough. What about 2 years later? Why replacing a high-end device so soon? Do you replace your PC every ~2 years?

They can keep it if you can't replace battery or put in external SD card
Waited a year for this not worth it.

As for the microSD card, mine was pretty useless in Kitkat cos it doesn't save there anymore so i had like over 50gb still free of it. I wouldn't mind if Samsung provide a 64gb model with the latest UFS storage as long as the price doesn't go ridiculously high.

I am so sorry to hear that SAMSUNG will provide us with a device which is not supporting Micro-SD for additional memory. This is unbelievable at all. I really feel so bad now, I dont care about the removable back-cover and water resistance that much, but for the micro-sd slot I do care and I think if this true after they show us the device, I will consider HTC or Sony. I hope Samsung will not put me down for the micro-sd additional memory.
I am positive and cant wait for the next hours to see the new Galaxy. But if it is not supporting Sd card, then yes I will change to HTC or Sony.

Besides, it needs an improvement anyway. they still need to change their crappy speakers and they need even better batteries (If Lenovo and various small brands can put 4000-5000ma batteries in not so think phones, then Samsung definitely could to. The question is will they want to).
