But you are right,, sony put in what matters in a midranger, and that is 2 gb ram, and a 720p screen, plus stereospeakers and waterproof....
Making it the best midranger out there...
Even the price is right, for half the price you get all the goodies of a flagship

OMG , this is the ultimate mid range mobile .
superb premium look , ,almost similar to Z3
1. 64bit processor
2. 13mp & 5mp
3. 2GB RAM
4. Waterproof that too without USB FLAPS
5. Stereo speakers
6. 2400mah with Sony's 2days battery life ( don't think
about doubting Sony's claim , they already proved it with the
2days battery life of Z3 )
even if I had to choose between Z3 & M4 , I would choose
M4 aqua because snapdragon 615 is more than sufficient
for every day use, high use , and all that awesome specs I
can get at half the price of Z3.
what more do you want??? this is the best . 2days battery
life is the best ,even if I get 1.5day , Its awesome.
what's your problem haters ??? your Sammy couldn't even make waterproof phone and began copying iPhone .lol

for example LG magna has thicker bezels but the back is CURVED so the phone still feels ergonomic in hand i remember my xperia ARC S

especially for a sony phone because the slippery glass back is flat and most phone today are getting bigger
