I would like to see them on Android and if they come out, I hope the chip will do good in terms of battery life, gaming performance and affordability.

I can't see smartphones with 4-8GB of RAM. The very first smartphone with 4GB of RAM will be Asus Zenfone 2, I heard that Asus will display their 4GB RAM version.

And just like that Intel's Atom line is faster, cheaper, and more advanced than anything AMD has to offer.

Gotta give Intel credit for persistently trying to crack into the smartphone scene. I know a few Chinese manufacturers have used Intel in their phones and tablets, but it's not quite mainstream yet.

Hopefully they'll address thermal heating of their SoC and take the fight to ARM. Though that's very unlikely for now.
