Lets not buy these expensive phones and soon they will beg for u to buy at low price..
Ppl use flip covers for their beautiful smartphone and they become ugly.
No matter gorilla glass or aluminum body or three sided display..all goes down to drain with a flip cover on it.
And most important ..
These smartphone battries dies within 12 hours..

Buy what you can and shut up!
The price is normal as were all the samsung flagships.
It includes latest tech (14nm processor, DDR4 ram...etc) all those things cost money.
And it's with taxe(VAT) included.
And by the way, Samsung is not doing charity, so don't expect them to offer it to you free of charge.

Most of the EU applies 19-21% sales tax, which is included in the quoted prices. So yes, here in the Netherlands, the quoted €699 price for the 32GB S6 and €830 for the 64 GB S6 includes 21% sales tax and 2 years warranty.
So if you substract the sales tax and convert to dollars (1 Euro being 1.12665 dollars), that would translate to $652 and $773 respectively before American sales tax, if applicable.
But again, that's not how these prices are usually established. The €699 for the base model of the new S series, is exactly in line with all previous S models sold here. Not a Euro more.

it's over priced. that is all. for an android phone, way over priced. It does not really have any more advantage for it's android competitors.

I was waiting for the s6. But when i look at the features and price, I would rather buy a sony xperia or a HTC. Bye bye S6. I work hard. But not crazy.

Oh and American prices were never the direct result of a simple currency conversion. Americans have always paid less in actual Euros. In part because we get an extra year warranty on all products here, which companies will take into account when pricing products (it costs them too) and the fact that all phone prices here include 21% sales tax.

Samsung is known for plastic that now they are using kinda of quality they are charging high price for that so- called quality. S6 will continue to be expensive Mark my words. My HTC M8 it continues to rule them all

To all saying that the price is too much the price will fall this is the opening price it's not an iPhone so price will drop withing first one two month and comparing it to iPhone is silly coz iPhone looks and basically is not as feature proof as this

Useless gimmick. the reason why it's so expensive is probably because of low production yield and alot of money spent on research and development for those screens.
the real application of them is yet to come: Actual bendable screens. Foldable/rollable tablets.
